Its on the second offense, right? In my opinion, after the first offense, the judge and your attorney should explain to you what the second offense will bring: a lifetime as a sex offender. If that person chooses to continue, they understand the consequences and too bad for them if they're caught again. I really do support a way to have their records expunged if they're not arrested for a number of years. If a DWI can be removed, sex charges - depending on the seriousness (not involving rape, incest, child abuse) should not have to follow you for the rest of your life.
