We have tried to raise our daughter with respect for her anatomy. Now that she is 14, we think she is old enough to see this play. My wife and I have seen it before and believe, through humor and compassion, "The Vagina Monologues" wraps itself around a very large void in society; that is, the inability by some to talk about a topic that--according to some--that not only "rules the world, but literally gives birth to the world, a world that, depending on where you are, can disrespect the vagina to the point of mutilation.
