Meanwhile, however, the parish right next door to Lafayette, Acadia Parish, got the shaft. Acadia Parish gets spilt almost in half, with the North half being placed in the district with Shreveport. How much sense that that make to have Church Point represented with Shreveport? Not that Congressman Boustany cares much.
