This meal replaced the meal usually served on a rotating basis by the Administration or Council on Tuesday evenings of the meeting. THUS!!!!!!!!!! saving the taxpayers MONEY! as he paid for it himself. The press was never invited or attended-- but since he is ANNOUNCING his RE-ELECTION BID- they were included on the invite list whether providing positive or negative coverage over the last three and a half years! I am sure if you call him he would welcome your attendance so it can be reported first hand on this blog. But if he also has a "dubious grasp" of State Law, well that's alarming. But what's downright disturbing is that people read this, and then publicly stated that Patin's just great, his district thinks he's great, and he's the best guy on the council. That's stunning! If Patin were my guy, and I just KNEW I were going to vote for him, I'd at least be a little embarassed by this incident. I'd want to overlook it, to forget about it, to minimize it. To place higher value on personal affection, or friendship, than on responsible and professional government, is detrimental to our City.
