I'm saddened to see that some comments reflect a seemingly universal ignorance and absolute lack of empathy for wild animals. Tigers are endangered: there are 3,400 left on this planet. Obviously, he will never be a 'free' tiger as he is not equipped to deal with the wild, having been raised by human imbeciles. That being said, I also have to throw this out here: I've been all for getting this cat out of a TRUCK STOP--a place where wild animals do not belong--but I do worry about the fact that the truck stop is all Tony has ever known. I'd be curious to know what big cat experts think about his chances of being reasonably happy in more natural surroundings--will he assimilate easily, or will it be hard for him? The incompetant employees at LDWF messed up, repeatedly. When it was brought to their attention, they ignored it. Hence the lawsuit. However having said that I will say that it really angers me there are so few laws in the USA to protect all animals........... However having said that I am deeply angered with the ill informed attacks on BCR.
