Great, great article. The best I've read. Why isn't it in the Ind that came out today (May 11)?
Everyone in this state should be sooooooo proud of Yvette. What a great representative for softball and Louisiana. Classy girl, that's what it's about. - rcnx

I remember when LSU called the PAC-10 Conference to get advice on finding a coach to start its softball program. They got a quick answer. You've got one of the best 60 miles down the road in Lafayette. Yvette's got over 1,200 career wins (second in NCAA history) and affected countless young women's lives in a positive way. Gotta like the girl from Broussard. - yesidoknow

Yvette Girouard thank you for your service to the girls of Louisiana. You absolutely deserved better than you got, but there are thousands of girls whom were influenced by you and your teams. I absolutely loved watcing those young women & young fans enjoying the sport. YOU HAVE MADE STRONG WOMEN! I sincerely hope you enjoy your retirement and are successful at whatever you pursue. God bless and thanks again. - BoFred
