God forbid we should have hired an EDUCATOR. You know what should have tipped off the Governnor and legislature about Pastorek? His reply when the state balked at his demand for a substantial pay raise only months after accepting his new post of Superintendent: "This is what it will take to keep me here. And listen, if it doesn't work out, you know, I have another place I can go." I would have fired Pastorek merely for making such a statement.
