No, no, no, Monkeyman. THE Youngsville Gazette also concurs with the Opelousas Daily World.
Yes we need to find another person with the mindset of Pastorek. Hell, we surely do not want to advance from the bottom of all states with the worst student grade point averages and overcome Mississipi as the second state in the union with the worst grade point averages. - NORTHSIDIAN SHOTGUN

So, the New Orleans City Business website + The Opelousas Daily World = statewide media consensus? - monkeyman

I do not share the admiration for Mr. Pastorek. Correct me if I am wrong, The Ind, but as I recall no one else was considered for the superintendent post -- no other candidates were even interviewed. Then, only months into his new job, Pastorek demanded a sizeable pay raise, threatening to leave if his demand was not met. It is unfortunate that the legislature did not tell him at the time to walk. - Farrow

"find someone with a mindset similar to Pastorek to fill his shoes"

Why are we letting the real deal go if we only hope to find someone with a similar mindset?! This is what is wrong with the education system.. they are afraid of change and being challenged. - blondie

Pastorek was a lap dog of Piyush Jindal! His every action was not designed to better our public education system, but to gut it in favor of vouchers and charter schools. He was highly overpaid with incredible perks.
