I lived in New Orleans at the time of Nagin's first election, and hoped his administration would be a positive for the city, at least from a business standpoint, because of his business background. Unfortunately, he just turned out to be an arrogant plug like most of the New Orleans leadership at the time. I have a hard time believing anything he says. Just stay in Dallas and don't come back, Dude! - Dudley E. LaBauve, III

My family lives in New Orleans, are staunch democrats, and recognize Nagin is a complete idiot, totally unsuited to be Mayor of New Orleans. He has tried to blame everyone else for the problems after Katrina.

His comment during the interview that nobody could have predicted this happening is a laugh. As he finally admitted, they've been talking about the levies failing for 30-40 years. Only a moron would take the fact that something hasnt happened in the past as proof it wont happen in the future.

I'm proud of Jon Stewart for seemingly seeing through this man's nonsense. - Jake Malone
