Badon's my representative and I voted for him. His voting record has been acceptable but he's no Clara Mae. All that's irrelevant now. These are serious times and we can't afford to have the compromised and the un-focused in office. He has proven to be undisciplined and disrspectful to his office and his constituents. He should not run again. - rambeaux rawlings

If he were a Mexican they would have let him go at the stop. No room in jail and they don't show up for court. Troopers don't want to waste time or paper - ben

When are we going to get serious about drunk drivers. I quess you have to kill a innocent child and parents to get our attention.
What if there were radomly checkig drivers. He would have failed. He was lucky to have a lawyer and judge to dismiss this. If he would have kiled one of my family members, jail would be he least of his problems.
Check your car insurance rates. We are the highest in the ountry. He should never be re-elected. - Pawn in the game of life

Gene, from a technical, court relative end of the spectrum, the case is closed. From the court of public opinion as well as the blatant appearance of impropriety, this case is far from closed. Bobby Badon has a drinking problem. That, in and of itself, clouds ones' judgement. Hence, Badon has no future place in our state legislature. This incident, the video, what Bobby Badon said in the video, and the final court related outcome by Herman Clause is going to come back and bite Badon many times over before he loses in the upcoming election. And no, he is not a bad legislator. He is a terrible legislator and a drunk to boot. - Maybe not.

Gene, reminescent of you, its in his Genes. If you take one of his genes from his DNA and observe the gene under the microscope, you will see a little short gene playing a fiddle and reeling he be inebreiated, "Yeah.
But, its water under the bridge, Clause paid his dues and he is now in the elite status with doorel, and others of the Acadian Lowlifers Genetically Connected Cult............ - NORTHSIDIAN SHOTGUN

He was drunk, no doubt. But, does this make him a bad legislator? NO! He made a mistake. A judge said the arrest was without probable cause. Case closed. - Gene Broussard

If you listen to the tape, he did not lie to the trooper because he asked the trooper if the stop was being filmed and recorded. - So much for that.

Apparently, he also believes in drinking, driving, and that he is a prominent citizen. He obviously has no pride nor does he possess a shred of integrity. He is finished before he even runs for re-election all due to his own behavior. - So much for that.

Badon needs, like Kenny Mire, to seek help for he is a binge drinking alcoholic. Herman Clause should be ashamed of himself, but when you are so self centered, egotistical, coupled with pseudo intelligence, and top it off with an elite outlook along with a willful use of power to bend the law and you have a person whose shallowness knows great depths: Herman Clause who calls himsefl a judge. But why now, Badon is "not a regular person," in fact, he is a "prominent person." Who the hell elected him? I'm pretty damn sure that it was a lot of regular people like me. He is a disgrace to his office and, were Herman Clause to have upheld the law, Badon would have realized that he is a regular person and not such a prominent person. Now Badon, in the true nature of alcoholics, will know that he has gotten away with something and his drinking will get worse. And, along with that, so will his behavior which, next time, may result in someone being injured or killed. Where was MADD on this one? - The way it is.

Is this the way the Youngsville Asst. Chief of Police Gregory will be handled? This Asst. Chief clown refused to take any sobriety tests and when asked by the trooper if he had been drinking, the Youngsville Asst. Chief of Police replied, "Not enough," on the record. When is the media going to request a copy of this encounter? Leslie, see if you are able to acquire this recorded incident. - The way it is.

Isn't this the same legislator who was threatened with blackmail because he had an affair with some guy's girlfriend?

Looks like Carencro elected a real class act. Maybe they should reconsider this Fall? - sad mr. badon

What a coincidence that Badon was let off the hook by fellow Carencro ole boy Herman Clause. Between Clause and Rubin an awful lot of public officals have been let off the hook recently. Were they at that steak dinner, also? - jazzpop
