I heard this year about a driver who should be retiring, but she's, and I quote, "on the drop", & anticipating that big check she's going to get in 3 yrs. There is nothing special required to drive a bus, no degree, no particular level of education (obviously), but the LPSB allows this kind of sucking the system dry. I could afford a house, the note, but the taxes, another $200 a month, made me "drop" the idea. They built a bunch of new schools, & now that some of them have been closed, the school system doesn't know what to do with them. I took the poll 3 times & my relative took it 3 times. We did this to confirm to ourselves this bogus "poll" was to allow LPSB, teachers & their friends to pad the poll. That front page of the Sunday newspaper was a misrepresentation if not an out-and-out lie.
