FYI, when cheating is discovered from excess erasure marks that change answers from incorrect to correct, it is usually the unethical handiwork of teachers or administrators changing answers after tests are turned in, and not the students' dishonesty. The high stakes testing has consequences for the school administrators and teachers, which is an incentive for these unscrupulous adults to monkey with the test answers. I would think this is especially obvious in the Calcasieu case. It would be unimaginable for 600 STUDENTS to cheat without some honest students turning them in. On the other hand, a small group of teachers or administrators can erase and change answers without much fear of getting caught. - Lagniappe

I thought the whole switch was to be able to get that coveted position.... Ain't no way this side of hell that job is going to someone not Repub... but I can tell you there are a lot of people out here who don't like switches, & there are a lot of people who aren't crazy about Robideaux, just not enough. Ernie's not so off on Robideaux's fans, but I think he's way off on who the party will back in what cases. All you have to do is look at Vitter for that... That party will preach a month of Sundays & support a whoremonger as long as he preaches the party line..... - Mo
