GAIUS CILNIUS MAECENAS I have enjoyed reading all the comments from the voters, and this comment stuck out the most and I will respond... We do have youngblood thats ready to enter the political arena however, the main reason there not stepping up is because of the way our "Goverment" operates now. Not yesterday, but now.... I know alot of intelligent young people that would do an outstanding job however, were fighting a loosing battle now.. Why, Do me a favor and ride the streets of NORTHSIDE and look at that residential streets, look at the vacant houses that are eyesoars. Look at the drug activity. The man I wanna vote for would be on the street corners talking to these young man of "DISTRICT 3# in hopes of making them understand how important it is to take back your community so that there kids can be safe. Create niehborhood awarness programs so that these senior citizens that have worked their butts off over the years, so that they can sit on there front porches and drink coffee in the morning... I dont need a briefcase suit wearning nose high individual what I do need is, someone to become fullly engaged on the behalf of "DISTRICT #3... If you were looking for him in night clubs, then you'r right you would not find him there. However, if you were looking for him at church and attending events to uplift the communilty, lloyd was their doing what he could to make our community a better place. Regardless, Lloyd is a fair-skinned African-American -- what some in this part of Louisiana might refer to as "Creole." He's a member of the Knights of Peter Claver, a black Roman Catholic fraternal organization.
