I do not like any automatic renewals that can be approved & signed without council approval or input. I don't think its good business or good for the general public. It gives the appearance of something being "hidden", under the table so to speak. The danged garbage renewals sure haven't benefitted the public any. The public NEVER comes out for the better when there is no one pulling to keep costs down. I'd sure like to know if any "campaign" contributions resulted from any of those "renewal" contracts.
