He is no clown; the real circus act involves Durel's illusionist feats of handing out your money to his buddies while maintaining all that "he's done for lafayette" has been good and fair to anyone but his friends. This is a very good point. I don't LIKE Durel, but he has done a reasonable job as Mayor, he's not under investigation, LCG's debt picture is pretty good, and taxes are still relatively low.
