So Joey has cast his lot with the haters of the Tea Party in this letter of endorsement and in other recent statements. The Tea Party has been compared with the "Silent Majority"... those folks who were silent because they spent most of their time doing their jobs and serving their communities and families, not protesting or dropping out or grooving or whatever. While current federal tax code might help Lafayette keep money here (Local tax is deducted from Fed tax income) possibly without raising an individual's total local, state and Fed tax burden.
