State Farm doesn't break into my car or house to steal, they just take directly from my wallet. Where are out elected representatives in all this? Kind of hard to feel for a company that made well over a billion last year in profits. - UtahCajun

The failure to get crime, inc. property crime, under control in the state's largest cities - its most populous areas - contributes to the costs borne by every homeowner and taxpayer in this state. Crime in this state isn't just New Orleans' problem or Baton Rouge's problem, we are all paying for it and it is high time that we heard from Governor Jindal and public officials at every level about what they plan to do to take responsibility for what is going on in this state.

The fact that we just had a general election in which the out of control crime problem in this state's cities was not seen as the responsibility of the Governor and other statewide officials is a disgrace.

The fact that rampant crime in the largest cities of this state is leading to widespread and utter contempt for law enforcement and governance in those areas makes the problem that much harder to address. This cannot go on.

It's not just your neighbor who looses when there is a break in, or when there is vandalism, or when there is property crime in this state, everyone with homeowners insurance pays no matter where you live. Some pay more than others, but we are all paying for it. - ThingsDon'tHappenByThemselves
