Robideaux NEVER had the votes. He didn't have them before Jindal announced his favorite horse in the race. Simply put, Rep. Robideaux flip-flopped and sold out on too many issues and votes to be trusted. He tried to tell everyone that he was the one who would be "independent" of the Governor. However, brief memory takes us back to last legislative session. The House voted FOR extending the 12 cent cigarette tax. Joel voted YEA that first time. Then came the vote to over-ride Gov. Jinal's veto.
