This is another horrible/horrible plan on the part of Bobby Jindal. First, this is a vail attempt on the part of Jindal to privatize the public education system in Louisiana. Jindal's answer to any and every financial problem facing the state is "privatization". This was his answer for the jails, it was his answer for the state's medical system, it is his answer to the state retirement fund--though I'm still trying to figure out how a "supposedly" intelligent and effective administration would take 4 years to "discover" an 18 billion dollar shortfall-and of course, now, privatization is Jindal's answer, (a la Gomer Pyle--surprise/surprise/surprise), to solving the problems facing education in the state. Jindal is obviously the "extreme" delegator. He obviously doesn't have the creativity to develop the financial resources of the state(ex. Haynesville Trend) to help meet or alleviate the financial struggle facing Louisiana.
His answer is to take monies from an already financially strapped system and transfer, though he calls this "voucher's" such monies to private schools without any symblance of accountablilty or evaluation--another characteristic of Jindal's all to frequent programs.
Bobby Jindal is going to go down in history as if not the worst, defintly, one of the worst governors Louisiana has ever had the misfortune of electing--twice....
