Heaven in a Glass
Ahhh! What a perfect way to enjoy the rest of the summer — with a perfectly shaken concoction from Village Café in River Ranch. Master mixologist Anthony White has crafted a tantalizing menu of delectable cocktails, including the Trinity (pictured), a divine blend of Liqueur 43, Frangelico, Cassis, heavy cream, fresh blueberries and blackberries served in a glass drizzled with chocolate syrup. Other luscious libations include the tantalizing Basil Coconut Lemon Drop, made with fresh basil muddled with lemon, a dash of simple syrup and topped with Ciroc coconut vodka and lemon bitters, and the refreshing Cucumber-Ginger, combining Hendrick’s Gin, Ginger Liqueur, fresh cucumber slices and lime. You’ll have to make several visits to try them all (or bring a few close friends for tastings). Village Café is located at 1 Degaulle Square in River Ranch’s Town Square, 981-8085.
