At first glance, it’s obvious Blue Dog Café has a certain Cajun joie de vivre by the lively painting and prints of artist George Rodrigue throughout the dining rooms and the menu reflects this same sentiment. Today’s Dish of the Day is crawfish enchilada—a blend of spicy cheeses and crawfish rolled into a tortilla and topped with a cumin mornay sauce. Served with a side of corn maque choux and “dirty dog rice,” this dish is nothing but bold flavors.
