Nola dining guide to the best restaurants in the Crescent City

It’s always a treat when the Times-Picayune publishes its Fall Dining Guide, with food writer Brett Anderson’s picks for top 10 restaurants in New Orleans. After which follows a heated discussion on what restaurants didn’t make the cut, which shouldn’t be on the list to begin with, why my current favorite (Domenica) didn’t crack the top 10.

Here’s Anderson’s top 10, with an essay of how he makes his choices, in alphabetical, not best to worst, order:
Cochon
Commander’s Palace
Emeril’s
Gautreau’s
Herbsaint
Lilette
Patois
Restaurant August
Ristorante del Porto
Stella!

Click here for a full listing of over 200 New Orleans restaurants, along the right hand rail of the Nola.com website.

"BRETT" ANDERSON"S taste lies..........excuse me,
I quarantee Anderson's taste is surely not in his mouth, a food critic that omits the Cresent City Steak House, on the the list of the ten top restaurants in New Orleans ever, puts catsup in his "GUMBO.
This "Gadabout Gaddis who has never driven by a Dairy Queen with pulling in for a frozen crab patty......
