Love Your Coast march on Louisiana Capitol

A grassroots gathering of Gulf Coast residents frustrated with the BP response to the Deepwater Horizon Disaster are scheduled to march on the Louisiana State Capitol on June 17 and 18 in Baton Rouge. According to their press release, the organizers of the Love Your Coast rally “are ready to put aside finger pointing and partisan bickering…and stand up and speak out. With one strong voice, we are ready to show the world that the Gulf Oil Disaster is blatant injustice. We will not continue to allow deep pockets to jeopardize our culture and way of life.”
