On Nov. 17, Pig & Plough Suppers is hosting Cochon, de Lune, a pig roast, gelato and beer tasting to benefit Acadiana Food Circle. Pig & Plough’s last supper was a cocktail paring dinner held at Village Café, but this time the crew is taking it outside to Bayou Teche Brewing in beautiful Arnaudville.

Silvia Bertolazzi of Carpe Diem! Gelato-Espresso Bar, Jeremy Conner of POUR, Toby Rodriguez of Lache Pas Boucherie et Cuisine are the chefs ready to cook up an evening of food and celebration. For anyone who has a passion for all things local, this event is for you.

Highlights of the evening are sure to be the locally raised pig from Market Basket farm in Youngsville, Bayou Teche Brewing tapping a cask of Loup Garou beer and musical sounds from Wilson Savoy and Diego Martin-Perez.

Tickets are only $25 for adults and $10 for children and proceeds benefit Acadiana Food Circle, an organization devoted to connecting local consumers to local producers and educating the public on healthy, local food choices. Advance tickets can be purchased at http://pigandplough.eventbrite.com.
