EatLafayette Dish of the Day: Antoni’s baked salmon
Antoni’s Italian Café in the Oil Center Gardens is the place for a casual lunch or an intimate dinner for two. During EatLafayette, Antoni’s is offering a special $10 prix fixe menu of a salad and entrée for lunch and dinner. Today’s dish of the day feature is one of the options from the special menu, the baked salmon.

The dish is a four ounce salmon fillet prepared with lemon and herbs and served with a side of grilled vegetables and fresh bread. The special also comes with a side salad choice of the house, Caesar or Italian salads.
Two other options on the prix fixe menu are the meatballs and linguine and the chicken Parmesan — now, that’s amore. Make plans to sit and relax if you are planning the EatLafayette special as you can only get this deal for dine-in. So, order a bottle of wine and unwind on the patio as the summer sun sets.
The EatLafayette campaign, which runs through Sept. 1, aims to encourage dining at locally owned establishments. On paper, Jindal could be the guy to do it, Fineman says, but politically, he'll have to start with the far right if he wants to get anywhere in the GOP.
