Brick & Spoon aims to fill a void in south Lafayette with a highly anticipated brunch menu for the masses.

Acadiana’s own Justin Girouard is a semifinalist for the James Beard Best Chef: South award.

After a hiatus, Village Café in River Ranch is serving brunch again starting this weekend under the direction of Executive Chef Jeremy Conner.

The fundraiser is to support Hearts of Hope while dozens of chefs compete for the Best of Show award.
After serving the UL campus for 26 years, the restaurant will close its doors at the end of the month.
