Fall finds for the rocker in you

1112_rocker_open I'm happy to report that the rocker girl vibe is alive and well. Among my absolute favorite sartorial choices, the rock and roll fashionista is easy to pull off in small doses or large. Take your pick.

Among the best we've spotted about town are staple pieces and accents from tough boots to embellished skirts. The obvious choice for a rocker girl may be spikes and chains, but we love a more subtle approach like this sword from kiki. Over at Vanessa V. they have some splendid sword earrings as well.

The leather jacket with dramatic shoulders and biker chicness from Vanessa V. is an easy way to literally take any look from preppy to tough. This IND Styler would try it with a long flowy top and leggings and tough girl boots for day. (A floppy hat couldn't hurt either.) And I'd pair it with a lux cocktail dress for night.

For killer legs, try the snug embellished skirt from Shoe La La. Try with a long flowy top and flat boots for a look that's sexy and undone. A moto boot would be just the ticket here.

Ground any look with suede boots from Shoe Fits that are versatile enough for any of fall's looks and funky enough to look utterly hip. And then there is the statement piece. This metal vest from Hemline is gypsy girl perfection. Perfect with all black. Hippie rocker with faded denim. Or boho with a printed dress.

However you decide to rock the rocker vibe, make sure you stay true to your own beat.
