As we head into a weekend filled with merriment (or last minute shopping if we're being honest here), dipping temps and egg nog galore, I was looking for a fresh take on the holiday green and red. And discovered mint green. It was hot months ago, and while pastels often wane as temps cool, this one is getting hotter and hotter.
If you're feeling funky we're loving the ombre skinnies over at Hemline. Free People always does the unexpected right and this look could go totally fresh with a crisp solid top or super funky with some wild prints and little booties.
Vanessa V. is a mint pusher. They've been rocking the mint for awhile and right now have a cool statement necklace. A great way to make a red holiday dress pop. We'd also love it with all black or paired with some other pastels. Perfect with bubble gum pink. We couldn't pass up the mint top over there as well. They weren't afraid to rock it with red denim but it cold truly work with anything from camel trouser to black skinny cords.
Vertigo also knows their mint. They have some fantastic earrings if you'd like to keep your mint a bit more subtle.
Wishing you a wintry fresh weekend and very merry Christmas!
Frank’s Casing Crew, now doing business as Frank’s International, will make its final appearance on ABiz’s list of the Top 50 Privately Held Companies in Acadiana this year, and once again, it will likely be at the top with more than $1 billion in annual revenues. The 75-year-old company specializing in tubular fabrication and installation services to the oil and gas industry plans to go public this year.
The defeat, or rather highjacking of House Bill 420 in the final days of this year's Legislative Session, say Reps. Vincent Pierre and Terry Landry, is the result of the propaganda spread by one unidentified local media outlet and an unnamed former state Representative, but nothing to do with the original legislation's lack of checks, balances or details.
