Fresh spring looks to wear before the thaw

There are some strange truths about the world of fashion. And one of those is that just as we are snuggling in our Uggs and snoods, the freshest pieces for spring are beginning to arrive, asking us to already think of warmer days. We'll bite.

The problem, however, is that it takes a boatload of restraint to pick up some of these new pieces and have to wait months to wear them (or perhaps you have more self control than this style junkie). And so, we spotted a few items that you can wear far before the flowers bloom.

The first of which are the bevy of pastels. We've been talking winter pastels a bit and spring are soon to follow. The easiest ways to do it now and later? Accessories of course. Over at Jewelie's we are loving the multi-colored necklace that works beautifully with this pink v-neck. It would be great, of course, with the of-the-moment mint and you can always wear it with crisp white and most certainly (always) black (yes, always with the black).

A bevy of beautifully colored rings are heading soon to kiki. Their staggering collection of Jamie Joseph pieces are the perfect way to class up your boho look or bring a pop of color to a monochromatic sleek ensemble.

Over at Hemline they're touting new palazzo pants that can work now with a long sleeve and later with a tank. This IND Styler can't get enough of the easy pants that have a kind of effortless vibe whatever you choose on top. How perfect for day with a floppy hat. And perfect for night with a statement necklace, top knot and red lips. There are few looks, spring or not, that aren't perfected with a red lip, statement necklace and top knot.
