My name is Amanda Bedgood and I love leggings. I mean I really love leggings. I've oft said that when they go out of style I beg you not tell me because I'll probably still be rocking them. This season they're arriving in the printed variety and I couldn't be more pleased.

If you're hesitant about this newest incarnation of legging, fear not. It's all about the how of styling that keeps you from that tacky Peg Bundy vibe. First rule: keep it simple. The rest of your look should be pretty basic — let the leggings speak for themselves. Think a super long top in a neutral color or perhaps a chambray button down that's nice and long. (Unless you have twig legs, the printed legging usually calls for a longer top to keep the look flattering.)

Second rule of easing into the printed legging: go flat. While we're not categorically against the printed legging with a heel, it's generally a more flattering look to try a flat simple boot without a lot of bling or drama.

Two great leggings we've spotted — the black and white pair from Hemline and the leopard from Brother's. Both are styled with white tops that are pretty simple. Add a few long necklaces and some little flat booties are you're ready for weekend wear done cute and comfy.
