7-Mile Yard Sale this weekend

You like garage sales? How about seven miles of garage sales? That’s a lot of stuff — aging board games, velour sweaters, hobo suitcases, dishes, clothes, lawnmower parts, and more. On March 20, The Arnaudville Area Chamber of Commerce throws its annual 7-Mile Yard Sale. The 7-Mile Yard Sale is the longest yard sale in Louisiana and people come from all over the South to find great deals at this sale.

It takes place along La. 93 from Grand Coteau to Arnaudville and runs 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and spend the day. Last year the turn out was huge. Non-profits such as Foster and Adoptive Parent Association will be out selling food and raising money for their cause a well as St. Landry Medicaid Office and Arnaudville Elementary. One man's junk is another man's treasure. For information or to participate, contact the Arnaudville Area Chamber of Commerce at 754-5316.
