The best of Acadiana Open Channel's locally produced television programming will be honored this weekend at AOC's annual Viddy Awards. The event presents awards for categories including Best Live Program, Best Arts and Culture Program, Best Crew, Best Set and a viewers' choice award.
The Viddy Awards takes place Saturday night at The Petroleum Club, beginning at 7 p.m. The event, open to the public, includes dinner and entertainment from Lafayette's one and only Tina Turner impersonator Connie Garrett. Tickets are $25. For more information, call 232-4434, ext. 201.
