On Saturday, Feb. 12, Katheryn Krotzer Laborde will lead a writing workshop titled “Bits of This and That” at Casa Azul Gifts at 232 ML King Drive in Grand Coteau.
The workshop is from 1 to 3 p.m. and costs $25. Bring paper and a pen.
Organizers say the two hour experience will be whir of writing exercises designed to be useful to both novices and seasoned pros. In the end, participants will have a series of passages to ponder, each one a possible portal to a story or poem aching to be made whole. The class is appropriate for teens and adults. This event is sponsored by Casa Azul, The Festival of Words Cultural Arts Collective and Frederick L’Ecole Des Arts.
