Training camps for the National Basketball Association teams have been postponed indefinitely and the NBA has canceled 43 preseason games, which were scheduled to commence Oct. 9. The camps were supposed to open Oct. 3, but the failure Thursday by owners and players to reach a new labor deal is at the least making a full NBA season doubtful. The regular season is set to begin Nov. 1.
