Palates and Pate
Acadiana Outreach Center supporters served up some serious style Nov. 14 at The Victorian during Palates and Pate. Richard Young was on hand with promises that certain pieces of this set up were but a preview of his epic Christmas party bash we’ve just penned on our calendars. Speaking of all that glitters: Erica Courtney. The celeb favorite jewelry designer looked beautiful in a black dress. Not that anyone could see past her nearly 11 carat Mandarin garnet ring. Her sister (and artist) Cezanne Nails was lovely as ever in a black and white dress with sparkling black flowers. On the arm of uber talent Carl Groh in a dapper suit, Cezanne and Carl were quite the artful combo. Kiki Frayard was the lady in red in a demure little dress and sexy heels while daughter Katie Culbert was boho chic.

Cocktails and Crowns
The royalty of Rio threw a bash fit for a queen at The Madison. The fête to honor Queen Prissy Wilson and King Lawrence Svendson was a lively affair with Prissy rocking a killer fringed top, Nandi Linscombe in sexy leather and lace and everyone in the mood to dance. A second line had the crowd toting umbrellas through the dance floor, and cool drinks and delish eats gave this krewe energy to keep the party swinging late night.
