The Heymann Center was transformed into a culinary adventure on Tuesday, June 17, for the EatLafayette kick-off event, A Taste of Lafayette.

This year’s local dining campaign participants were ready to dish up samples of popular menu items to hungry guests — there’s no other place in town where barbecue, Indian cuisine, sushi and cupcakes harmoniously live side-by-side. Guests were spotted sipping on cocktail creations from sponsors like Rank Wildcat Spirits’ popular Sweet Crude Rum while beating the summer heat and enjoying delicious bites.

The summer-long dining campaign is happening now until Sept. 1 as a means to promote local restaurants and encourage diners to try new homegrown eateries. For more details on specials offered at various EatLafayette participating restaurants, visit the EatLafayette website. Check back for updates as the 10-year EatLafayette celebration continues.
