The Heymann Center was transformed into a culinary adventure on Tuesday, June 17, for the EatLafayette kick-off event, A Taste of Lafayette.

This year’s local dining campaign participants were ready to dish up samples of popular menu items to hungry guests — there’s no other place in town where barbecue, Indian cuisine, sushi and cupcakes harmoniously live side-by-side. Guests were spotted sipping on cocktail creations from sponsors like Rank Wildcat Spirits’ popular Sweet Crude Rum while beating the summer heat and enjoying delicious bites.

The summer-long dining campaign is happening now until Sept. 1 as a means to promote local restaurants and encourage diners to try new homegrown eateries.
