Thank you for the story on Albania Plantation ("Ageless Beauty," Oct. 18). My great, great, great grandfather, Charles Francois Grevemberg, built Albania. I visited the plantation in the spring of 2002 when Emily Cyr Bridges was the owner. It was in desperate need of renovation then, so I was delighted when Hunt Slonem purchased and restored it.

The recently released movie All The King's Men was filmed at Albania. A unique story with photos of the plantation is featured in the national magazine InStyle Home, in the fall/winter 2006 issue. On page 135, in the top right photo, above the buffet, is a copy of a portrait of Charles Grevemberg.

Albania Plantation is a legacy for my family, and we hope that it remains so for years to come!
