Cravins cited by Ethics Board

Opelousas Mayor Don Cravins is facing a fine by the Louisiana Board of Ethics, which accuses the pol of failing to disclose income received by the Louisiana Teachers’ Retirement System. According to a board document, Cravins was notified in September 2010 that he needed to amend his a 2009 personal income disclosure form to reflect the LTRS income.

The board voted in March of this year to file the ethics charge against Cravins, a charge that was officially filed with the state on April 26.
