Valdez spill subject of LITE screening

A special screening of the 2009 documentary, Black Wave: The Legacy of the Exxon Valdez, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at Louisiana Immersive Technology Enterprise. Hosted by KVOL 1330 drive-time host Lou Rom, the free screening will be followed by a question and answer period with Riki Ott, a marine biologist and Valdez expert from Cordova, Alaska.

Ott, who also appears in the documentary, is expected to testify next week before Congress during another round of hearings on the Gulf oil spill.
