Special election for Mills’ House seat April 2

Louisiana House Speaker Jim Tucker called a special election April 2 to fill Fred Mills’ vacant House seat. If necessary, the general election will be April 30.

Mills, who won a special election Jan. 22 for the District 22 Senate seat vacated last year by independent Troy Hebert of Jeanerette (he left to head the state office of alcohol and tobacco control), previously represented House District 46 in St. Martin Parish. Mills switched to the Republican Party before the Senate election and easily avoided a runoff, garnering 60 percent of the vote over five other candidates.

Qualifying for the District 46 House seat is Feb. 16-18.

This CLOWN change party because he's betting on the NUTTINESS, CRAZINESS of those republican and tea party imbecils to win the day with their cute little phrases like obamacare, tyranny, freedom, etc. Obama has cut taxes since becoming president. That's a fact.

When the peasants figure out that they've been duped they will grab their pitchforks and torches...

So far in this new republican house, what have they done: repeal healthcare, abortion, homeland security. They've done nothing about jobs, or reducing government spending. Nothing!
