Jackson in La. against UNO-SUNO merger

The Rev. Jesse Jackson will be the featured speaker at a rally today on the Southern University - New Orleans campus to oppose a proposed merger between SUNO and the University of New Orleans, according to The TImes-Picayune. Jackson will be joined by seven SUNO student plaintiffs who filed a lawsuit against the state and the Board of Regents against the proposed merger.

Jackson was in Baton Rouge Sunday to speak to the congregation at Living Faith Christian Center Church, according to The Advocate, calling the controversial merger idea an example of modern racial inequality. The rally in Baton Rouge was attended by Southern University alumni, students and a handful of local and state officials.

The Board of Regents is scheduled to receive a feasibility report on the merger Monday.

I call that there is about a 75% chance that Jesse Jackson will be making this a racial issue. I think he exploits his own race more than he helps them.

Financial issues aside, why should Southern not want to integrate? Does Jesse Jackson want stay at the back of the bus?

Jesse Jackson is a government hack. He gets his wealthy on the cuff status by being front and center for whatever party is in power, he has two sides to his alter ego and neither side is for promoting and aiding anyone, (regardless what color they be) but the ultra ass kissing Jesse Jackson.... This is, the black mans hope, now can someone tell me why ?
