Tucker yet to concede sec. of state race

Louisiana House Speaker Jim Tucker, R-Terrytown, is holding off conceding his apparent defeat by roughly 8,500 votes Saturday to Tom Schedler in the election for secretary of state. While the term-limited lawmaker has congratulated Schedler in a Facebook post and says he doubts the outcome will change, he tells a New Orleans TV station that he’ll wait until the voting machines are opened and tabulated by local election officials before conceding.

I can hear Tucker crying like a baby whose Teat has been pulled from his lips. It's time for this dude to get a dose of reality and get back to the working world. He was one of the class of politicians who believe they were sent to Baton Rouge to govern us...Nay, nay dear Tuck, you were supposed to represent us nto govern us!

And Dumbgesser was endorsed by Vitter too, so how could he have lost? Note to self: if I ever run for office, don't return David Vitter's calls.

He's got months to go before he breaks the Longest to Concede record set by the Honorable Woody Jenkins, ironically the David Vitter of his day.
