A day after telling Louisiana-Lafayette coach Mark Hudspeth he was quitting to take a coaching position at another university, James Willis has reversed his decision and will remain with the Ragin' Cajuns as defensive coordinator.

UL Lafayette has bolstered the depth of its offensive and defensive lines with its 2014 recruiting class, while also adding to its passing game and pass defense.

Coach Mark Hudspeth announced the resignation Wednesday night. He says a search for Willis' replacement will begin immediately.

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team is showing up in another preseason poll — this time at No. 24 in the USA Today Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll.
