"I keep telling people how expensive it is to come to a bowl game," UL AD Scott Farmer says.

A colorful award, a replay of last year's defining moment, pumping up the volume and a visit to the fish — all in a day's work at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

A cool snap makes it seem more like football season at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, where UL's Ragin' Cajuns will find a way for last year's bowl MVP to see action.

"I'd be shocked if he wasn't here next year," quarterback Drew Brees said after practice on Wednesday. "I have not even thought for a second that he wouldn't be here, honestly. Not even thought for a second."

After player events dominated the first two days of R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl activities, the UL fans get their turn for some bowl action beginning Thursday evening.
