The Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic celebrated its 18th anniversary with a reception honoring its board, staff, volunteers and patients from the current clinic and its predecessor, St. Ann’s Infirmary. The Lafayette Parish Preservation Commission bestowed plaques dedicated to the memories of Dr. Richard Saloom and the late Pierce Meleton, a longtime clinic supporter. Attending the Sunday afternoon event were clinic providers, including founder Dr. Terry Cromwell.
