Steampunk: A modern take on steam power period fashion, Steampunk mixes fashion reminiscent of the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras with science fiction-esque accessories. It’s where old world charm meets new school hip. Call it NeoVictorian. Call it Jane Austen meets H.G. Wells. Just don’t call it conventional.

David Calhoun and Elizabeth “EB” Brooks are the first two employees of Lafayette Central Park Inc., the nonprofit charged with turning Lafayette Consolidated Government’s 100-acre Johnston Street Horse Farm property into a passive public park.
